My "Star Fields" blog is a place to catalog the many images I've taken over several years for the AAVSO (aavso.org). My initial focus for these images was to perform differential photometry on target variable stars and upload the results to the AAVSO international database. In recent months I've started processing these star field images in my astrophotography app of choice "Astro Pixel Processor" and enjoyed the beauty of the various star locations and colors and  identifying other deep sky objects that happen to be in the same field of view as the original target variable star.  I've also started doing an analysis of these object and stars of interest in the FOV to increase my knowledge of he universe.  This blog will essentially be my "Astronomer's Notebook" for my imaging and analysis efforts.

Cheers,

Brian
